I began as a commercial stylist in Los Angeles, then was instrumental in the post-9/11 revival of downtown Brooklyn cofounding Butter, and Consignment on Atlantic Avenue (sold in 2008).
After time spent traveling and sourcing globally, I launched Small Trades (2010) Welcome Shoppe (2012) followed by Dake’s Shoppe on Harbour Island (2015) and Welcome Shoppe Miami in the Design District (2017).
Since 2018, Mexico has been home—first Mérida, where I designed and built a modern sustainable residence (sold 2024) reflecting my “grounded luxury” philosophy. And now I am located in Mexico City, where I partner with global brands on positioning, product curation and experiential retail strategy.
